WPCC Proposes Bylaw Amendments for 2013

The Waite Park Community Council (WPCC) is proposing amendments to the current bylaws governing the board of directors and membership. Proposed changes are intended to correct errors, bring consistency and clearer definition to language, and better reflect current practices.

All those who live, work, or own property within the Waite Park neighborhood are invited and strongly encouraged to review the proposed amendments by one of three ways:

  • Review the document here online: WPCC Proposed Bylaws 2013
  • Attend a neighborhood meeting, March 6th or April 3rd
  • Visit the Waite Park Recreation Center (1810 34th Ave.) and request to view a copy
The WPCC Board of Directors intends to vote on the proposed amendments at the April 3rd neighborhood meeting. Comments and questions regarding the proposed amendments may be submitted by email to: waiteparkcc@gmail.com or mailed to: Waite Park Community Council, P.O. Box 18476, Minneapolis, MN 55418. A portion of the April 3rd meeting will also allow for public comments and questions before a formal vote is taken.

Please take time to review this important document and to understand how it affects the governance of the WPCC.
