Our Neighborhood Needs Your Help

Waite Park ATM 2012 - Group shot 01-8686 sm.jpgThe Waite Park Community Council is looking for motivated individuals to join our board to help address neighborhood concerns, engage our community and residents, and maintain a high level of urban living in Northeast Minneapolis.

Since 1954, the Waite Park Community Council has worked to represent the interests of residents, business owners, and other interested parties in Northeast Minneapolis. Our mission is to serve as a forum to support the interests of the Waite Park neighborhood to maintain a high quality of life through community engagement. Over the past 50 years, the Waite Park Community Council has worked to bolster the health of our public parks and schools, provide access to low-interest home loans for our residents, and provide expertise and resources to address residential concerns, business expansions, and address a myriad of livability issues in Minneapolis. Now we need your help.

The Waite Park Community Council is looking for residents and business owners to join our board for a term of two years. We are looking for residents interested in grant writing, financial planning, legal affairs, design, or public policy. The only prerequisite to join is that you are 18 years old or over and live, work, or own property within the Waite Park neighborhood.

We are a non-partisan, non-profit organization serving the Waite Park neighborhood. The Waite Park Community Council is a registered 501(c)3 organization in good standing with the Minnesota Secretary of State.
