The Waite Park Community Council is looking for a new board member to join our ranks! The Waite Park Community Council (WPCC) works closely with local Minneapolis schools, parks, elected officials, police and other stakeholders in our community to uphold and further the interests of the residents of the Waite Park Neighborhood. The WPCC is comprised of 15 board members and 4 officers that are dedicated to working for the interests of the Waite Park community. The Waite Park Community Council meets regularly on the last Thursday and first Wednesday of each month at the Waite Park Community Center.
Interested parties must by over 18 and live, work or own property within the Waite Park Neighborhood. The WPCC is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Nominations will be held at the next Waite Park Community Council meeting on July 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Waite Park Community Center (1810 34th Avenue NE, adjacent to Waite Park Elementary School).
