Minneapolis Public Works would like to announce a public meeting regarding the Central Avenue NE Corridor Bicycle Study. The limits of the study are from the Mississippi River to 37th Ave NE. Please attend to find out more information about the progress of the study, and to provide input and feedback on the potential to utilize bicycle facilities on Central Ave NE.

Audubon Park has opened a new Mini Farmers' Market here in Northeast Minneapolis. The market is open every Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00pm through late September at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church parking lot at the corner of 27th Avenue and Johnson Street. The City of Minneapolis has launched a new web site where the public can learn how the City is putting federal recovery funds to work to get our economy moving. As Minneapolis begins to receive funding from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), it is making transparency a top priority to ensure that residents and others have easy access to information on how the City is pursing and spending recovery funds.

has an up-to-date list of recovery grants that the City has either
received or that are in the application pipeline. It includes economic
recovery resources for residents and businesses, and there's also an
opportunity for you to submit your ideas for making the most of the
federal recovery funding.
The Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board will be showing the movie March of the Penguins at Audubon Park on July 7th. Naturalists will be on hand prior the movie to provide fun and free activities. The movie is scheduled will begin at dusk (around 9:15).
