Arbor Day at Waite Park is a success!

Thank you to all the teachers, parents, students and community members that made Arbor Day at Waite Park a success! The students from Waite Park Elementary School planted over 70 trees around the school and park with help from the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board's Forestry Division and The Home Depot. Hopefully these trees will thrive and become a fixture for the community for years to come.

A special thanks to Dan Haugen for putting together this video from the event.
