Waite Park Community Council Annual Town Meeting

On March 4 the Waite Park Community Council (WPCC) will be convening our annual town meeting. At this meeting the WPCC will hold elections for eight of the 15 seats on our board. If you are interested in running for one of these seats, please join us this Wednesday. In order to become a member of the Waite Park Community Council, you must be over 18 and must live, work, or own property within the Waite Park Neighborhood (the Waite Park neighborhood encompasses the area of Minneapolis north of Saint Anthony Parkway, south of 37th Avenue NE, east of Central Avenue and west of Stinson Avenue).

The WPCC will also be holding elections for two officer positions, treasurer and secretary, and approving the 2009 budget. The annual town meeting for the Waite Park Neighborhood will be held at the Waite Park Community Center, 1810 34th Ave. NE on Wednesday, March 4, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
