Waite Park Community School Community Education Coordinator Ginny Plumb retired this month after 35 years. WPCC President Rachel Newham presented Ginny with a framed certificate of appreciation at the June 2nd WPCC meeting "for her long outstanding dedication and service to the
Waite Park Community."

The WPCC also passed a resolution declaring June 8th, 2004 to be Ginny Plumb
day at Waite Park with the following commendations:

Ginny has been a pioneer in developing the partnership between the school board and park board at Waite Park. Ginny has
been involved in the community as education coordinator, and as an active
participant in the Waite Park Community Council.

Ginny has been the gracious greeter and information source for many visitors to
park and school. Ginny and her husband, Jack Plumb, have been enthusiastic
volunteers for many activities sponsored by the park and the school. Ginny has
been an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing her or working with
her.
